Back In The Saddle

After a bit of a summer ending break I am back it and will have a number of posts in the coming weeks.
First will be my take on a new release wine out of the Okanagan (yeah, you want to get on this wine). Followed by some notes on tasting aged wines and then a review on a wine that you likely all remember, but have likely forgotten.
Anyway I will talk to you all soon.
Cheers

Hi Rod Can you recommend a couple of wines $20 or less 1) a Viognier or Chardonnay 2) Syrah or Shiraz Thanks Pat P.s What would you serve with Chicken Picatta?

Pat- Viognier I would go with the Cono Sur from Chile which is around $10. For Chardonnay I’m loving the Wolf Blass Yellow Label for true value and complexity ~ around $16
As for Syrah/Shiraz, right now I am partial to Languedoc-Rousillon wines, check out either Fat Bastard, $13.99, or Gayda Three Wines at $12.
For Chicken Picatta and red I would go with a Sangiovese/Merlot or Sangiovese/Cab blend. Everything Wine has a great option in Sono Vino. For white I would tend towards the Cono Sur Viognier or the Mission Hill 5 Vineyards Pinot Blanc, $14.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
